Text messaging & opt-in
DETAILFORGE (operated by GLODUSK) is a software platform used by auto detailing, vehicle wrap, paint protection film, and window tint shops. When a customer asks a shop for a price quote, provides their mobile number and ticks “OK to text me”, the shop sends that customer a one-time text with a link to view their estimate. These messages are transactional and are triggered by the shop after the customer requests a quote. A shop can also turn on one text back to a caller it missed (see Missed-call text below). We send no marketing or promotional messages.
How customers opt in
A customer opts in by entering their mobile number on a shop’s quote-request form (on the shop’s DetailForge estimate page or an embedded form on the shop’s own website) and ticking the “OK to text me” checkbox under it. The checkbox is unchecked by default and optional: the form can be sent without it, and it is separate from any terms. The same checkbox, exactly as reproduced here, is on every form where a customer gives a mobile number (quote requests, bookings and booking from a chat). The customer’s choice is recorded with the time and the form, and a customer who leaves it unticked gets no texts from the shop.
Optional. You can send this without ticking it. Privacy Policy · Texting Terms

Missed-call text
Some shops have their own DetailForge texting number that also takes phone calls. This text is off unless the shop turns it on. When it is on and someone calls that number and nobody answers, DetailForge sends that caller one text from the same number, on the shop’s behalf.
- When: only when the call rings out, the line is busy, the call fails, or the caller hangs up after it has rung for at least 8 seconds. A call that is answered, including by the voicemail on the shop’s phone, gets no text.
- How many: one text per missed call, and no more than one every 4 hours to the same number. No text goes if the caller texted the shop in the last 4 hours.
- Quiet hours: only between 8am and 9pm on the shop’s clock. A call outside those hours gets no text, now or later.
- Who never gets one: a number that opted out of texts from that shop or from DetailForge (if we can’t check, no text goes); a hidden caller ID, or one the carrier marks as failing its check; and any number that is not a regular US or Canadian number (toll-free, premium-rate and other countries).
- The words: the shop writes the message (up to 300 characters). Unless the shop changes it, it reads “Sorry we missed your call at [shop name]. Reply here and we’ll get back to you.” Every one ends with “Reply STOP to opt out.” Replies go to the shop.
- Opt out: reply STOP to stop texts from that shop’s number. Reply HELP for help.
