Delete your account

You can delete your DETAILFORGE account yourself, in the phone app or on the web. Both do the same thing. If you can’t sign in, email us and we’ll do it for you.

In the phone app

1. Open the DETAILFORGE app and sign in.
2. Tap More, then Settings.
3. Tap your name at the top to open Profile.
4. Under Danger zone, tap Delete account.
5. Check which shops will be deleted, type your email address, tap Delete my account, then Delete forever.

On the web

1. Sign in at detailforge.app and open Account.
2. Under Delete account, choose Delete my account.
3. Type your email address and choose Delete forever.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in, on the web and in the phone app.
• Every shop you are the only owner of, with everything in it: customers, vehicles, jobs, quotes, invoices, messages, photos, files and settings. Before you confirm, the app and the web list these shops by name.
• The live DETAILFORGE subscription on each of those shops is cancelled.

This cannot be undone.

What is kept

• Shops you share. A shop with another owner, or one where you are on the team, is not deleted. You lose your access to it, and the shop keeps its own records.
• Your shop’s Stripe payment account, if it took card payments. It is not closed automatically, because it may still hold money or an open dispute. Email hello@glodusk.com and we’ll close it.
• Billing records we must keep for tax and audit, for 7 years.
• Backups: encrypted snapshots may hold your data for up to 90 days, then are purged on schedule.
• Security logs: IP addresses and request details, for 90 days.
• A record of the deletion: your email address, when the account was deleted and how many shops went with it, kept for security and audit.

Delete one shop, keep your account

A shop’s owner can archive or delete just that shop on the web, from Settings → Workspace.

Can’t sign in?

Email hello@glodusk.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may need to confirm the account is yours before we do.

If a shop has your details

If you are a customer of a shop that uses DETAILFORGE, your details belong to that shop. Ask the shop to delete your customer record, or email hello@glodusk.com.
